Handgun Skill Builder 1 (HSB1)
Do you know the 7 fundamentals you need to shoot your pistol accurately in the heat of the moment? When every milisecond county, you must be able to rely on muscle memory and react instinctively and instantly. This course is designed to teach you the fundamental techniques necessary to defend yourself in a lethal force encounter.
Handgun Skill Builder 2 (HSB2)
As a follow-up to Handgun Skill Builder 1 (HSB1), this class builds upon the techniques needed to become an expert with your pistol. Our drills focus on maintaining the skills learned in HSB1. We'll also be introducing stress in a safe and controlled environment., to help reinforcing muscle memory and tighter groupoings for shooting in a short time frame.
In addition, we will be adding strong and weak hand shooting tecniques, target transitions between multiple adverswaries, turning and shooting from the Right, Left and Backside and more!
Handgun Skill Builder 3 (HSB3)
As a follow-up to our Handgun Skill Builder 2 (HSB2) course, this class introduces a variety of new advanced gun handling and shooting techniques. The Handgun Skill Builder 3 (HSB3) course provides you with the tools and techniques needed in a defensive encounter. Now it's time to learn the applicantion of those techniques, practice the critical decision making processes, and regain the skills required to win a life threatening defensive encounter.
This course is primarily composed of unconventional shooting techniques, shooting on the move, and scenario-based training. This cours is an advanced-level training designed to prepare you for and actual life threatening defensive encounter.

AR-15 Skill Builder 1
The AR-15 Skill Builder 1 (ASB1) course is the first step in learning the capabilities of the carbine as a defensive tool in close quarters. Take the first step to becoming an effective marksman with our professional instructors.
This course is perfect for beginner to intermediate shooters with the AR-15 platform who are interested in enhancing their abilities. This course is geared towards anyone looking to learn how to use the AR-15 platform safely, effectively, and reliably as a defensive platform. Students will become familiarized with the AR-15 rifle and will learn the basic gun-handling skills that are necessary to safely operate this weapon system.
You will also learn how to "zero" your rilfe, admisiter muliple types of reload and malfunctions.
AR-15 Skill Builder 2
Our AR-15 Skill Builder 2 (ARSB2) course build upon your techniques to become an expert with your AR-15. We will be shooting at up to 100 yards, shooting in unconventional shooting positions, addressing multiple adversaries, and more.
Our drills focus on maintaining the skills learned in ARSB1. We’ll also be introducing stress in a safe and controlled environment, to help reinforcing muscle memory and accurate shots in a short time frame.
All of our drills are designed to help you increase your accuracy and speed, and many of our students see a drastic improvement from the beginning of the class to the end. This defensive training allows you to be an asset, ready to protect yourself, your loved ones, and the community.
AR-15 Skill Builder 1 (ARSB1) is a prerequisite for this class.
Defensive Shotgun Classes
Arm yourself with the techniques needed to become an expert with your shotgun while also building realistic skills that can survive the test of a life threatening encounter.
Shotgun Skill Builder 1
Our Defensive Shotgun Skill Builder 1 (DSSB1) course is designed to be your first step into tactical shotgun training. This shotgun course will provide you with the confidence you’re looking for and give you the tools you need to be successful when operating your shotgun as a defensive tool, by building a solid understanding of how to handle, operate, and shoot a shotgun.
This class is designed for beginners to intermediate shooters to gain the confidence to safely protect yourself and the people that matter most.
You will also learn how to "pattern" your shotgun, admisiter muliple types of reload, slug select, and malfunctions.
Shotgun Skill Builder 2
As a follow-up to Defensive Shotgun Skill Builder 1 (DSSB1), this class builds upon the techniques needed to become and expert with your shotgun. Our drills focus on maintaining the skills learned in (DSSB1).
In addition we will be shooting from farther distances (35 & 50 yards), introducing alternative shooting positions and learning to shoot behind cover and concealment via our Bigfoot Tactical Training Wall. Lastly, you will get a dose of some Stress Inoculation drills.
All of our drills are designed to help you increase your accuracy and speed, and many of our students see a drastic improvement from the beginning of the class to the end. This tactical training allows you to be an asset, ready to protect yourself, your loved ones, and the community.
Defensive Shotgun Skill Builder 1 (DSSB1) is a prerequisite for this class.
Private Classes
This private course is designed to help you improve your handgun, rifle, or shotgun fundamentals. We can work on whatever you think you need to focus on.
If you're not sure what to focus on, our highly qualified instructors can assist you with that.
Must be a minimum of 18 years old to participate. Ages 18-20 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian that is also enrolled in the course.

Aaron has called Humboldt County home for over 25 years and has a deep love for the outdoors. Known as "Tactical Tie-Dye," he is also enthusiastic about firearms and dedicated to teaching firearms safety. With a lifetime of shooting experience, Aaron has been instructing on firearms skills and safety for more than a decade.

Cole Greene
Cole Greene dedicated three years to the US Army as an Airborne Sapper in the 82nd Airborne Division, 2nd Brigade Combat Team. He is Ranger Qualified and was honorably discharged, medically retired after one deployment to Afghanistan. Following his military service, he spent four years working as a Private Military Contractor/Private Security Contractor with Academi, completing nine contracts overseas in that role.
Roy Williams
Roy has a strong passion for outdoor photography and enjoys spending time in nature. Additionally, he is dedicated to teaching others how to safely handle and accurately shoot firearms. Roy holds a POST certification, DOJ CA CCW certification, and possesses NRA Instructor certifications in both Basic Pistol and Basic Rifle.
Daniel Rose
Daniel Rose, a native of Humboldt County, possesses a profound passion for the outdoors. He takes great pleasure in firearms training and is committed to safely instructing others in the proper use of firearms. His interests also extend to hunting, fishing, and motorcycle riding. Furthermore, Daniel is employed at Pacific Outfitters, where he works in the Firearms/Fishing/Kayaking departments.
